IR Skirt Sizing Chart
Potomac River Supply sells Immersion Research skirts and the charts below reflect those specifications. Skirts from other companies might have different sizing. If you have questions about sizing your cockpit or choosing the skirt that is best for you, please send us an email at gearguru@calleva.org.
When determining tunnel size, please use your pant size as a reference point. Please be aware that skirt tunnels will loose up over time with continued use. Additionally, drysuits and winter layers are bulky so consider getting a large skirt for winter paddling.

When determining the size of your cockpit remember that the circumference is the measurement around the very outer edge of the rim, not under the coaming where the bungee or rand fits.

Bungee or Rand?
Bungee skirts tend to be easier to put on the deck and drier than rand skirts. Unless you are paddling high volume Class 5 or going over large drops (places where you are worried about skirt implosion), most people will find that a bungee skirt fits their needs.Â
