Everything you need to stay warm and dry on cold-water days — drysuits, drytops, and the layers you wear underneath, all in one place.
What's in this collection
Paddling Apparel covers your full cold-weather protection system: drysuits and drytops to keep water out, and base and mid layers to keep you warm underneath them. Together, these pieces work as a system — the waterproof shell handles keeping water out, while what you wear underneath does the actual work of keeping you warm.
Two decisions, not one
Building the right cold-weather setup really comes down to two separate choices:
1. Drytop or drysuit? A drytop covers your upper body and pairs with separate waterproof or quick-dry bottoms — a more affordable, more breathable option for moderate conditions. A drysuit covers you head to feet in one waterproof piece — full protection for genuinely cold water or winter paddling. See our full [Drysuits & Drytops guide] for how to choose between them.
2. What goes underneath? Your dry gear only keeps water out — it's your layering that keeps you warm. The right base and mid layers, in synthetic or wool (never cotton), make the difference between a comfortable day and a cold one. See our [Cold Weather Layering guide] for how to build that system.
Why it's all in one place
Your dry gear and your layering aren't separate purchases — they're one system that has to work together. Buying a drysuit without the right layers underneath leaves you cold; buying great layers with the wrong dry gear on top leaves you wet. This collection is organized so you can build the whole setup at once, not piece it together from scattered categories.
